Ice-O-Matic Service Schools a Success!
Norm’s hosted five sessions of Ice-O-Matic Service Schools this March 29-31 and April 13-14 in Northern and Southern California. Keeping technicians up-to-date on the latest products and servicing is a priority to both Norm’s and Ice-O-Matic in order for the the end users to have the best service for their equipment. Spreading the classes in different locations throughout California allowed Ice-O-Matic to reach more specialists who wanted to learn about the updates.
Robert Salazaar, a Technical Service Advisor for over 17 years, led all of the sessions. He trained the groups on topics about installation, start-up, the electrical sequence, refrigeration and basic troubleshooting of specific lines. He also talked about the HISU, GEM and MFI models.
Both the Northern and Southern locations gathered an impressive 100 attendees each including Field Technicians, Journeymen and Apprentices from the service and installation fields. A question and answer session after the presentation allowed the experienced professionals to share their knowledge of the products with the newer techs. This beneficial discussion let everyone learn from the attendees as well as from Mr. Salazaar. The consensus of the attendees after taking in the new Ice-O-Matic information was that their tagline “Ice. Pure and Simple” really holds true with the equipment and servicing.
Norm’s will host more of the free Service Schools in the future for Ice-O-Matic and other manufacturers. Please contact Norm’s at 1-800-933-4423 if your company would like to be included on future Service School notices.
